The Y at the Heights is hosting the 5th Annual Heights Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run on May 19, 2018

The Half Marathon will begin at 7:00 a.m. followed by the 5K at 7:30 a.m. The Kids' Color Explosion run will begin at approximately 11am for kids 2-7 (half mile) and approximately 11:15sm for kids 8 and older (one mile). You may pick up your race packet on Friday, May 18th from Noon-7 p.m. at the Y or Saturday, May 19th from 6-6:45 a.m. at the start line near the Aquatic Center at the Heights.
All Half Marathon finishers will receive a medal and dri-fit shirt.
All 5K and kids' color explosion participants will receive a cotton blend t-shirt. Women's shirt sizes are available for the half marathon.
Course:
The Half Marathon is an out-and-back with 10 total water stations. At the start/finish, we will have bagels, fruit, water, etc. for you. We also have two Port-A-Johns - one at mile 3 and the other at the turnaround. If you need childcare, our nursery will be open to you free of charge at 6:45 a.m. until the conclusion of the race. Both courses are USATF certified!
Age Groups:
The age groupings will be broken into 5-year increments for the Half Marathon and 10-year increments for the 5K.
Awards:
Given to top 3 overall male and females and top 3 in each age group.
*$100 prize for setting the male/female course record for the half marathon.
